2013 has been quite a year.
As many have celebrated victories, grappled with political instability or coped with natural disasters, we have been fortunate to have had a relatively peaceful year. Looking back, I’ve had the good fortune to share experiences and traditions, as well as recipes we use as enjoyment, as comfort and as celebration.
This year, you enjoyed both sweet and savoury tastes, both new and traditional foods. These were your favourite recipes this year – EmmaEats’ top 10 recipes in 2013:
Top: Braided Easter Bread, 2×2 ways | Dairy-Free Vanilla Birthday Cake with Rose Ombre Frosting | Vegan Oatmeal and Banana Pancakes | Chicken Masala Pizza
Middle: Double Chocolate Brownie Cakes | Warm Moroccan Quinoa Salad | Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup, 2 ways | Spelt Crust Pizza Buns
Bottom: Dairy-Free Chocolate and Raspberry Cake with Fluffy Marshmallow Frosting | Dairy-Free Lemon Olive Oil Layer Cake with Coconut Whipped Cream Frosting
Thank you for your readership, dialog and support in 2013. You’ve helped make it a record year for EmmaEats and I’m excited to bring you more in 2014. Here’s wishing you a happy, healthy and warm year ahead filled with family, friends and excellent food!
